Love birds : Tom Holland Is ‘In Love,’ Opens Up About Zendaya Romance.
One needs to understand what it means to have “rizz”—a slang word used to describe someone who is charming or flirtatious—in order to comprehend and appreciate Tom Holland’s relationship with Zendaya. Although Holland admits that he is neither, his “long game” was ultimately what allowed him to secure Zendaya. He is presently “in love.”
In a recent interview with BuzzFeed, the 27-year-old actor was frank asked what the secret was to his rizz. Holland didn’t hold back, noting he’s rizz-less. But that doesn’t mean Holland can’t cast a spell on someone. He just needs time.
“I have no rizz whatsoever. I have limited rizz. My brother, Paddy, has ultimate rizz,” He said. “I need you to fall in love with me, really for it to work. So, long game. Probably making a movie with each other — it definitely helps when the characters are falling in love with one another, you can sort of blur the lines a little bit.”
Holland is obviously making reference to his Peter Parker/Spider-Man persona and Zendaya’s Michelle “MJ” Jones character from that movie.
“That’s kind of where my rizz is at,” Holland continued. “And, you know, I’m locked up. I’m happy and in love so I’ve got no need for rizz.”

Holland and Zendaya met on the set of Spider-Man: Homecoming after landing the roles in March 2016. Years later, in July 2021, while on a sunset drive in his Audi sports vehicle in Los Angeles, photographers saw them kissing at a red light. They declared their love in November 2021, and one month later they took their first red carpet photo together.
Holland recently revealed an explanation for why he keeps his connection with the star of Euphoria so quiet in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter.
“Our relationship is something that we are incredibly protective of and we want to keep as sacred as possible,” Holland said. “We don’t think that we owe it to anyone, it’s our thing, and it has nothing to do with our careers.”
Holland praised Zendaya incessantly, praising her boundless potential and the fact that she astounded everyone at her MJ audition.
“Zendaya, she’s wonderful to work with. She’s arguably the most talented person I’ve ever met,” he told THR. “She’s amazing. My first impression when I first met Zendaya — she was the only person auditioning for MJ and it was such a home run. I was so blown away by how unique her performance was. And also just so interested in the fact that as soon as she left the room there was a unanimous decision that she was our MJ. And, obviously, I’m very happy that she came in and tested that day. I’m sure you can guess why. But no, she’s fantastic.”
After collaborating with Zendaya on many Spider-Man movies, Holland stated that he is looking “forward to finding something where we can work together again.”
Recently, they engaged in some PDA in Italy, watched an NBA playoff game in her hometown, and even jammed out to Usher at his Las Vegas show. Point being, they love being together, and it shows. Holland, an avid golfer, has even started teaching Zendaya the game, claiming to The Hollywood Reporter that she is a quick study.
“I’ve given her a few lessons,” he said. “She’s very naturally talented, a real athlete, so she picked it up really quickly.”
